Methodology
Our preferred partner uses a large, opt-in national panel of over 300M consumers who are shown ads before a campaign launches. Using the camera on their computer or mobile device, facial micro-reactions and eye gaze are measured as they watch. Backed by 50 years of cognitive science and academic research, this allows our partner to understand how consumers feel and process the message, moment by moment.

Measures an ad’s ability to generate enjoyment and foster an overall positive assessment of the video as determined by the average mood, slope of mood and end mood level.

Measures an ad’s ability to capture and sustain emotional engagement from beginning to end by assessing the first :05 emotion intensity and the overall slope of emotion intensity.
Ad Breakthrough
Measures an ad’s ability to stand out in a cluttered media landscape, capture attention, and spark interest as determined by the First :05 emotion intensity, attention concentration, content originality and brand familiarity.
Brand Perception
